Today the crew sailed from Cooper Island to Nanny Cay. Here is an extract from the Da Vinci’s ship’s logs written by the captain of the day, Matt.

Da Vinci: “SCUBA diving was pretty fun, the wreck was awesome!! Too bad I missed the hike on Salt Island. That sounded fun too. Raising the genaker went quick and easy. Over all the day was fun, exciting and eventful. Hope tomorrow is the same! Today the crew did a great job of docking. We need to work on cleaning. Our miracle moment was going wreck diving”

Zenon: This morning James headed off for his second dive and we all sailed on Zenon to make our second attempt at hiking Salt. With Connor at the helm we dropped anchor and headed ashore for the hike. We made it to the top and had an incredible view of the wreck of the Rhone. After Catie told us the story of how the wreck got there we headed back down the mountain. On our way down we ran into our friends from Action Quest and had a chat about how our programs were going. With the help of Jac and Devin we picked back up the anchor and headed to Cooper Island. Connor, Jac, Alli and Max dropped the ball all on their own once James was back and we headed on a nice long downwind sail. Underway Allegra taught us all how to play Spoons and Cheat (card games), then Connor guided the boat into a perfect docking. YEP met us at the docks and we all had a big spaghetti dinner before going to the beach for tug of war, jump rope, volleyball and ice cream. Finally we all went to bed exhausted.
