Sandro and Jessica got up early to put water on for oatmeal on Geneve. After breakfast the crews departed Mountain Point and headed to the Bitter End Yacht Club. Amelia and Mitch led the boats through the channel and up to the North Sound. Both crews docked the boats flawlessly in very tricky slips. After a quick deep clean of the boats, the Foxies headed uphill for a hike to the top of Virgin Gorda. Matt, Spencer, Dylan and Jake prepared delicious Mac & Cheese for lunch once the hike was over.
After the lunch cleanup, everyone got some free time around BEYC. Matt, Kaveh, Tirdad and Sandro went out on the banana boat and water skiing. David, Alex and Katie took out a Hobie catamaran and went for a little sail around the harbor. Hannah, Dylan and Maggie took out a Hobie with Elise and did some small boat sailing of their own. The evening was very eventful as it was Chili Cook-off, complete with two crazy Chilean judges. Geneve’s theme was Alien Robots with costumes, music and a script. Van Gogh’s theme was Peter Pan and pirates with an epic sword fight between Peter (Dylan) and Captain Hook (Mitch) to retrieve Tinkerbelle, Wendy and the chili. After the excitement of chili was over the students got time to hang out at the Quarterdeck pub for milkshakes and a movie.
