Day 3:

Today we woke to a storm moving through the islands. It made for some awesome sailing weather though. We departed early to begin sailing towards the Bight on Norman Island, tacking and jibing our way there. Olivia was Skipper of the Day on Wind Whisper and led the crew through several maneuvers. On the Prosecutor, Mark was captain, and he sailed a perfect course to the Bight. Once we arrived, both boats learned how to catch and hook a mooring ball. Hannah hooked the mooring ball on The Prosecutor and both boats made it on their 3rd try after some shifting wind making it quite difficult. For first timers, they did an amazing job. Afterwards we ate a lunch of pizza bagels and then headed ashore to meet up with another program, Sierra. Both groups hiked up to the helicopter pad to take some awesome photos! Afterwards we came back down for some beach time and watersports. Stephen went wakeboarding for the first time and is ready to go again! Rachel, Jake, and Ryan enjoyed swimming around on the beach. Then we headed back to boats and cooked some Barbeque Chicken, couscous, and a salad. Afterwards, we cleaned up, had a boat meeting, and enjoyed a night of board games on the boats. The rest of the night everyone just hung out enjoying the cool breeze and dancing outside to music!
