Day 10 of our two week program began at the notorious island of Jost Van Dyke. With Sam at the helm we were in for a good sail to Sopers Hole where we did our second provisioning shopping trip. The overall sail was relatively short, however the strong winds and white caps compensated for the distance. Once we arrived at Sopers Hole we initiated our first group shopping trip where we broke off into groups of three each planning breakfast lunch and dinner for their assigned day. By allowing us to provision this way turned out to be a great way to plan meals because it added variety to our meal plans and allowed each of us to prepare a meal we were confident in making well. Over all day 10 was a relaxing recovering day that ended well with a nice shower and an incredible chicken fajitas. There were many roses throughout the day, with only one memorable thorn which consisted of our skipper of the day Sam slightly cutting his hand while attempting to prepare some snacks for the crew. All in all day 10 was a relaxing and restful day that was well needed and enjoyed.
