Trellis Bay to Mountain Point

Day 7:

Today we woke up at Trellis Bay to some clear skies after a light rain during the night. Yogurt and granola was on the menu with some fresh fruit. The divers were off to the dive boat quite early so they could complete a dive and choose their Advanced Open Water specialty. The rest of us explored Trellis bay cafe and the art studio. Lauren and Dana helped staff search for some sea turtles and even saw a Hawksbill!  With all the divers back from their adventures, Taylor dropped the mooring and successfully navigated Monet out of the anchorage.  Once into the bay, Frederick skippered while the crew of Vivaldi raised the sails.   Megan steered the crew of Sao Jorge with Annie’s accurate navigation around Great Dog Island.  After completing their first successful anchoring at Mountain Point on Virgin Gorda, we had some time for watersports, where Gracie had a blast tubing!  Now the excitement in the fleet is building as everyone starts to prepare for Challenge Day tomorrow!
