Today the crew awoke at various times after our night sail. We reached Spanish town on Virgin Gorda around 1:30 in the afternoon, and a few crewmates went onshore to purchase provisions for the next few days of our voyage. Afterwards we dropped our mooring ball and headed for Savannah Bay to drop anchor. Once we arrived, we were pleased to see that we were spending the night in a gorgeous location and even had Morgan Freeman’s vacation home nearby. We ate lunch and spent the remainder of our day straightening up the boat, snorkeling, and relaxing. After a few hours, a late supper of burritos was prepared by Caroline and Hayden. They were delicious and filling for all. All in all, our day was uneventful and mainly spent recovering from our 18 hour night sail. But it was still fun for all just being in the company of new, close friends.
