Bravo 2 Trip Update Day 15 – Molly, Mate & Dive Coordinator
Bitter End Day! Today the entire fleet had a late wake-up and breakfast, and prepared for an activity filled day at the Bitter End Yacht Club. We rent out two Hobie cats, two Lasers, and a windsurfer, and everyone has as chance to take them out with friends or with staff members. We also offer water skiing, wake boarding, tubing, and the Banana Boat for those who crave speed and excitement. Most crew members also make their way to The Pub at some point for food and iced drinks.
On SJ, Mason spent the afternoon practicing her windsurfing skills, while Alli was in The Pub watching her home country, Italy, participate in the Olympics. Connor and Cameron spent the afternoon tubing together.
On Monet 1, Adam tried windsurfing for the first time and was able to stand up and easily sail downwind. Sage, Will, Darius and Adam went on a great hike, where they were able to look out over the beautiful North Sound.
On Vivaldi, before getting to BEYC, Katie and Harrison prepared a delicious apple strudel for breakfast. The whole boat spent time cheering on the U.S. and Arthur’s Brazil in the Olympics.
Monet started the day with a great frittata and some french toast made by Carly and Alex. Will, Noah, and Gustavo tried windsurfing, and Grace went on the beautiful hike.
Although the weather was a bit overcast, the Olympics offered a good distraction during those brief rainy moments. As always, our day at the Bitter End Yacht Club was a success!
