Foxtrot 2 Day 12 Trip Update – Emma, Program Director

Today was a busy day of snorkelling, sailing, diving, and shopping.  Straight after breakfast we headed to Cistern Rock to do a snorkel for the REEF check project.  We counted the number of different species of fish and tried to spot as many new fish as we could.  Everyone was in the water doing this together, and we had a lot of fun.  It is always nice to get into the water so early in the morning to wake up.

On our return to the boat it was time to get ready to sail.  We were headed to Nanny Cay, and we were all excited to be on docks for real showers, ice cream, and hanging out with the rest of the crew.  Da Vinci was the first boat on the dock, brought smoothly alongside by Alberto.  They were closely followed by Lucy at helm of Van Gogh for another sweet docking.  Once the boats were clean it  was time for the crew to head off.  Fourteen of us joined Kit for a dive homework session, and the rest explored the shops and hung out on docks.  There was a lot of ice cream consumed and the divers finished their homework in record time to be sure that they made it to the ice cream store.

After some real showers in the comfort of Nanny Cay Marina, we had dinner on the boats before starting our preparations for fleet Olympics on Friday!!!!!
