Foxtrot 2 Trip Update Day 7 – Emma, Program Director
Both crews enjoyed a sleep in and a relaxing and restful morning on docks at Village Cay. The exemplary culinary talents of the students were demonstrated on each boat with a delectable breakfast of homemade pancakes of many flavors, such as banana, chocolate chip, oreo, and other innovative toppings. Once the pancakes were devoured and the boats cleaned up, everyone had a bit of free time to mix and mingle with other crews from the Sierra and Tango fleets before they departed. DaVinci showed their talent by carrying out a impeccably smooth de-docking before heading out of the channel and having lunch under sail. Van Gogh enjoyed their turkey, tomato, & mozzarella wraps on docks followed by some free time to get smoothies by the pool. After lunch Van Gogh followed in Da Vinci’s footsteps by executing another flawless de-docking. The Foxtrot fleet then met back up for the night at Marina Cay. Each boat hooked and moored their vessels and spent some time hanging out with their crew before starting a delicious dinner of honey mustard chicken with rice and broccoli. The night was spent playing board games until an early power down in preparation for the adventurous sail to Anegada tomorrow!
