Charlie 1 Trip Update Day 21 – Robb, Program Director

As the student’s groggily move off of their boats and board their planes home, it’s always a surreal experience to say goodbye to the crew with whom you’ve lived, breathed, and sailed for 3 entire weeks.  Departure day is always a blur, with the first of the students leaving sometimes before the sun even rises.  By the time the crew have a chance to look around, the students are gone, and the boats are quiet and unusually uncluttered.

Charlie 1, thank you for all of your smiles, laughs, and excitement.  You’ve truly made this a wonderful program! You’ve learned an extraordinary amount of knowledge – both about sailing and SCUBA diving — and I can only hope that this knowledge will carry you far and wide for many future adventures.

Fair Winds and Following Seas,

Charlie 1
