Charlie 1 Trip Update Day 17 – Robb, Captain & Assistant PD

Charlie divers almost spent more time underwater than they did above today!  Both boats had an amazing sail today back from Anegada to Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor.  After an early morning wake-up and de-mooring, the fleet enjoyed a fantastic quiche underway, which took a long time to cook but was well worth the wait! After some amazing dockings by Harry on Buoyant Asset and Tate on Venture, the fleet cleaned up the boats and ate lunch before an afternoon dive. The students on Charlie fleet actually requested more diving this afternoon, and the dive staff accommodated their request with a total of three dives today!

Before the divers returned, the staff prepared sloppy joes and everyone came back to the boats very hungry, devouring their food in no time at all.  After dinner the boats went out to another dive!  Night dives usually allow divers to see an entirely different array of organisms from what is seen during daylight hours.  On this night dive for example, students were able to see many, many jellyfish.   The dive itself was a blast, and the exciting news is that now everybody is a certified night diver!
