Bravo 1 Trip Update Day 9 – Luke, Mate

Today was an early day for Bravo 1! Before we even ate breakfast we rose at 7 a.m. for a morning snorkel.  Waking up in beautiful, warm Caribbean waters with colorful fish, corals, and sponges everywhere you look is not a bad way to start the day! After breakfast we gathered our laundry and dropped the ball at 9:30 a.m. to head for Sandy Cay, a small spit of sand located between Tortola and Jost Van Dyke.  With a picture-perfect beach and swaying palms, it was the perfect place for a little lunch and beach fun!  Students enjoyed tossing the frisbee and football and playing in the water in general.  After a few hours in this little paradise, we upped anchor and motored over to Little Harbor, where we took care of prepping dinner before heading ashore one last time for the day for a marine biology session and SCUBA homework time.  It was the perfect mix of work and play today!
