Bravo 1 Trip Update Day 7 – Luke, mate
Today the Bravo fleet cleaned their boats in the morning and got to enjoy a day wandering Road Town. All the kids spent a few hours getting ice cream and perusing local shops. Then it was back to the boats for a 4-hour sail to practice tacking and jibing in anticipation of Challenge Day tomorrow!
The students tested their skills by doing a silent pick-up of a mooring ball in Great Harbor. Mooring is already tricky, but even more so when you can only rely on predetermined hand signals to communicate from the bow to the stern of the boat. After a couple of tries the students were able to successfully secure the boat! After a BBQ chicken dinner it was time for all of the exhausted crew to get to bed for some rest before Challenge Day tomorrow!
