Bravo 1 Trip Update Day 6 – Luke, Mate
Today we woke up and ate chocolate chip pancakes, followed by a wonderful sail across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Village Cay in Road Town Harbor, where the students had a stellar docking. After maneuvering their boats carefully into the slips, the crews went for a truck tour of the island’s west end, going up to the top of Sage Mountain and down through beautiful Cane Garden Bay. Meanwhile, the divers finished up their open water certifications and officially became PADI certified Open Water Divers! Dinner was a noodle and veggie stir-fry, followed by a marine bio lesion on sea turtles. Everyone had fun participating in a marine life sketch in which the students acted as sea turtles and staff members acted as predators. After wrapping up the turtle lesson it was time for a little reward…ice cream!
