Bravo 1 Trip Update Day 4 – Luke, Mate
Today the divers went on a Discover SCUBA Diving dive for their first open water dive! Everyone seems to have absolutely loved the experience, and are psyched to continue for the next few weeks.
The non-divers snorkeled Cistern Rock and hiked up to the top of Salt Island – which all agreed made for a very hot – but very fun – day.
After returning from the hike and dive, crews reconvened on their boats and weighed anchor to sail from Cooper Island to The Bight on Norman Island! We were on a fairly relaxed time schedule, so the staff made sure to have in-depth conversations with new sailors about dropping the mooring ball at Cooper, raising the sails once we entered Sir Francis Drake Channel, and sailing downwind to moor again at Norman. Aboard Vivaldi, Elizabeth was at the helm and was able to get us moored on the second try with the help of the whole crew. Great job all around!
Now settled in to our home for the night, everyone is looking forward to taking the dinghy ashore this evening for a dessert surprise!
